“Iulia Hasdeu” College in Cahul marked a historic milestone today – 80 years of activity, dedication, and significant contribution to the education of generations of professionals in southern Moldova. The anniversary event brought together alumni, teachers, students, long-term partners of the institution, as well as numerous representatives of central and local authorities in a solemn atmosphere.

   The ceremony was honored by the presence of the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Igor Grosu, Member of Parliament Mr. Ion Groza, the Consul General of Romania in Cahul, Mr. Gabriel Nicola, Vice President of Cahul District, Ms. Tatiana Seredenco, Mayor of Cahul Municipality, Mr. Nicolae Dandiș, and many other distinguished officials and personalities from the Cahul region.

   During the event, guests emphasized the essential role of the college in shaping generations of specialists and in developing the local community. Gratitude was expressed to teachers for their professionalism and dedication, while students performed artistic moments dedicated to the jubilee.
