Today, at the Cahul District Council, the official inauguration of the headquarters of the Cahul Intercommunity Development Association (ADI Cahul) took place, marking an important step in strengthening collaboration among the district’s localities and in the effective implementation of regional development projects.
The event was attended by Member of Parliament Ms. Larisa Voloh, representative of the State Chancellery Mr. Vlad Sîrbu, UNDP Moldova representative Mr. Sergiu Pleșca, the President of Cahul District Mr. Pavel Groza, as well as the mayors of the founding villages and communes of the association. In their speeches, officials highlighted the importance of cooperation between local authorities to better meet community needs and to use available resources efficiently.
The Cahul Intercommunity Development Association (ADI Cahul) is a nonprofit and apolitical organization, established to enable multiple localities to collaborate on development projects and the management of shared public services. By pooling resources and efforts, ADI Cahul ensures efficient municipal management, implements infrastructure projects, accesses funding, and provides better services for residents.
Today’s event marks the beginning of a new phase in the development of Cahul District—one based on cooperation, partnership, and shared interest in modernizing communities. ADI Cahul thus becomes an essential tool for turning local visions into tangible projects with a lasting impact on the quality of life of residents.
