Cahul district is among the regions of the Republic of Moldova that receive the most European investments. Over the past two years, projects worth more than 60 million euros have been implemented, having a significant impact on local development. Modernized infrastructure, renovated kindergartens, and improved public services are just some of the results of this support.
Today, the President of Cahul District, Mr. Pavel GROZA, and the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Ms. Cristina GHERASIMOV, held a working meeting with mayors from several localities in the south of the country. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of Moldova's membership in the European Union and the benefits of European integration for local communities.
During the dialogue, the country's European agenda was analyzed, focusing on the opportunities provided by the Growth Plan for Moldova and the necessary measures to strengthen the capacity to absorb European funds. The challenges faced by local administrations were also assessed, and the essential role of citizen involvement in the modernization process of communities was emphasized.
