November brought a series of heartfelt events to the Cahul district, marked by the village festivals of Burlăceni, Slobozia Mare and Roșu – celebrations of faith, tradition and community spirit that gathered residents, guests and local authorities in an atmosphere of joy and gratitude.
The events were attended by Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Ion Groza, and the President of the Cahul District, Mr. Pavel Groza, who conveyed messages of appreciation and congratulations to the local communities for their active spirit, hospitality and involvement in the development of the southern villages of the country.
The celebrations included religious services, ceremonies honoring distinguished citizens, inaugurations of local public interest facilities and a variety of artistic programs that highlighted authentic traditions, folk costumes and the talent of artistic groups from the region.
The celebration in Slobozia Mare, dedicated to the Feast of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel (new style), stood out through its solemn and emotional atmosphere, marked by the inauguration of the Border Guards Heroes Monument and the architectural composition “Iubesc Slobozia Mare” – symbols of the community’s identity and gratitude.
In Burlăceni, the village festival was filled with energy and joy, where music, dance and local traditions created a festive atmosphere. The highlight of the event was the performance of maestro Ion Suruceanu, who delighted the audience with an exceptional artistic program, warmly applauded by all present.
In the village of Roșu, the celebration brought together residents and guests in a welcoming and friendly setting, where folk music, traditional dances and songs showcased the beauty and vitality of the community.
