On November 6, in Cahul, the 25th anniversary of the NGO AFA FEMIDA Cahul was celebrated — an organization that, for a quarter of a century, has been promoting women's rights, civic participation, and the development of women in the district and across the southern region of the country.
Over the years, AFA FEMIDA has distinguished itself through social and economic initiatives aimed at strengthening the role of women in the community. The association brings together successful women entrepreneurs who actively contribute to the development of the local economy by creating jobs, supporting innovation, and engaging in projects with long-term impact. Through these efforts, the organization not only defends women’s rights but also drives the economic progress of the Cahul district.
The anniversary event brought together officials and guests of honor who conveyed messages of congratulations: Mrs. Cristina Ixari, State Secretary within the Ministry of Finance; Mr. Gabriel Nicola, Consul General of Romania in Cahul; Mr. Pavel Groza, President of the Cahul District; and Mr. Nicolae Dandiș, Mayor of the Municipality of Cahul. All attendees expressed their appreciation for the association’s work, its consistent involvement in community life, and its contribution to the social and economic development of the district.
Congratulations to AFA FEMIDA Cahul for 25 years of dedication, courage, and service in support of women and the progress of the community!
